I hope you’re all doing well. This is my first post in a while as I’d stepped away from social media and this blog for my mental health. I’ve gotten enough emails to know it was time to share some of what’s been going on. Forbidden Fiction / Enspire Publishing has stopped communicating with me and many other (all?) of their authors. They have not paid me. They’re in breach of contract on a manuscript of mine, for failing to complete edits or publish the story in the agreed upon timeframe (March 2018 was my last communication from them about it).

Do NOT try to purchase books from them directly. Do not expect to receive an email response from them, unless you do so through a lawyer. I’ve largely washed my hands of the whole toxic mess. I am still writing, though currently not with the intention to publish. At this point, my muse finds the idea of that to be special kind of self-inflicted torture. I am open to self-publishing at a later date. I’ve been redirecting energy from my writing-to-publish side-hustle into taking better care of myself and my family.
